THE POPULAR West Wyalong Show returns on Wednesday, 3 September 2025 at the West Wyalong Showgrounds, promising a vibrant celebration of rural life, community spirit, and family-friendly fun.
Gates open at 9am, with the official opening ceremony to be held in the McCaskie Shed at 1pm, conducted by Ninoska Birchall, the celebrated Young Woman finalist from Mudgee who represented her zone at the 2025 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
This year marks a milestone as Bland Shire introduces a half-day public holiday from noon to 6pm, encouraging the whole community to embrace the festivities.
Packed Program of Highlights
The day’s lineup is as lively and varied as ever: Young Woman and Showgirl/Showboy competitions, Horse and dog jumping, including a thrilling Dog High Jump sponsored by Ag n Vet, RTM Tyres & Deans Livestock, popular attractions like Fyfes Animal Farm and the ever-amusing Comedy Duck Races, the Young Farmer Challenge, including a new category for older farmers, proudly supported by Quade Moncrieff, pavilion exhibitions showcasing art, cakes, and crafts. Livestock and produce displays and the ever-popular Side Show Alley featuring rides, games, novelty stalls, and side-show alley attractions will also be there.

Ride coupons: 30 tickets for just $25 - a great money-saver; redemption available in sheets or alongside cash. Available until 2 September. Pavilion entries: Can be submitted via Showdayonline for a small 50-cent fee per entry - an organiser initiative to support budgeting for exhibitors.
