TOMORROW’S minor semi‑final will see the third‑placed Tullibigeal Grasshoppers play the Ungarie Magpies. With a preliminary final berth on the line, tensions will run high in this elimination match.
With finals intensity engaged, this minor semi‑final promises everything footy fans of the Riverina love - a local rivalry, physicality, passion, and the thrill of potential upset.
The Magpies are coming off a bye and will be refreshed for the clash while Tulli won a dogfight over West Wyalong-Girral to ensure they finished third.
Ungarie and Tulli have played three times this season with the Grasshoppers holding a 2-1 lead head-to-head with both victories by huge margins. Ungarie meanwhile will be hoping to replicate their Round 9 form when they trounced Tullibegeal Grasshoppers by 51 points. It’s unlikely there will be that big a gap between the sides though this weekend.
