The Waratah Tigers enter the season following consecutive deep finals runs and have strengthened their squad with the addition of recruits.

West Wyalong will counter with a refreshed roster under the guidance of new first-grade coach Luke Clarke.

Clarke joined the club this season and has overseen the integration of several new signings into the Mallee Men squad.

The side features former Peter McDonald Premiership forwards David White and Joash Toringi.

The club has also secured the services of Lockie Miller, Oscar Wood, Clay Morton and Brandon Jones.

Elex Nasedra, Kepas Kepesa, and Joe Epoa round out the list of players who have joined the red and black for the 2026 campaign.

Clarke intends for his team to establish a high standard of play and discipline from the opening round.

The coach has focused on ensuring the new combinations within the squad are prepared for the physicality of the Griffith side.

Securing a win in the season opener is a priority for the Mallee Men as they look to build momentum under the new coaching structure.

Kick-off for the First Grade clash is scheduled for 12.45pm at Leeton Oval One.
