ROUND Two of the Group 20 rugby league season sees last start winners the Leeton Galloping Greens and the West Wyalong Mallee Men go head-to-head at Leeton's No. 1 Oval. The match promises to be a thrilling encounter, showcasing the talents of some of the groups brightest stars.
Brady Jones (West Wyalong Mallee Men), fresh off a standout performance in the Kiawarra Cup, where he was named Man of the Match in a narrow victory over the Rankins Springs Dragons, Jones is expected to be a pivotal figure in the Mallee Men's lineup. His leadership and on-field vision will be crucial as West Wyalong aims to build on their successful pre-season campaign and open their account with an away win. Jones will need to ensure the side is the job against a Greenies side that plays until the final whistle.
At just 18 years old, Caydan Hillier (Leeton Galloping Greens) has already made a significant impact in the Group 20 competition. He played a key role in Leeton's thrilling 33-32 away victory over Yenda in Round 1, demonstrating maturity beyond his years.
