Evolution Mining donates $90K to local charities
Cowal gives back to community groups

EVOLUTION Mining’s Cowal Gold Operations (CGO) has once again demonstrated its commitment to community, donating a total of $90,000 to three vital local charities Country Hope, Can Assist, and Royal Far West.
Funds were raised through CGO’s internal fundraising activities, including proceeds from site vending machines, and by a direct contribution from Evolution Mining. Representatives from the recipient organisations attended a special cheque handover event held at the Evolution town office, where they were each presented with a $30,000 donation. Evolution’s General Manager, Joe Mammen, spoke of the importance of supporting local services:
“Being in the country comes with challenges particularly when it comes to treatment and access to essential services. The work these organisations do is incredible, and this is our way of saying thank you for the vital support they provide to our region.”
Anne Lowe from Country Hope said the funds will go a long way to supporting families dealing with childhood cancer and serious illness.
“We are incredibly grateful. This donation allows us to continue providing essential care and emotional support to families during their toughest moments. Evolution’s ongoing generosity is truly appreciated.”
Can Assist and Royal Far West also thanked Evolution for recognising the value of their work and for consistently investing in the wellbeing of the community.
The event concluded with a morning tea to mark the occasion.
