LED by Caprice Crowe, the Rankins Springs Dragonettes kicked off their 2025 Women’s Proten Cup campaign with a close victory over arch rivals Goolgowi on the weekend. Crowe was in everything and proved the difference between the two sides with some sublime skill and standout defence.
The Rabbits pushed the Dragonettes all the way though and there is no doubt these two teams will meet again at the business end of the season. Tryscorers in the 10-0 win were Tiarra Hardwick and Tilly Heath with Hardwick one goal. Heath picked up the Coaches Award for a super effort across the park as well.

The Dragonettes with this kind of form and finals defence will be one of the teams to beat.
